Chemistry Lab, Write It Do It, WiFi Lab (Trial Event), and Game On. It would be nice to go to State and meet you bernard!
I did Write It Do It for two years, one year with my brother. I didn't like practicing for it because of the writing. I was mostly a biology and build person; builds were for a while our school's weak point, especially in early years when we had less experience. School gives me enough biology now so I'm mostly a build person outside of school.
My partner in Write It Do It I've known her since 6th grade and we make a great team (She writes better and I like building). Although having a Trial Event by yourself is fun. But having lazy partners in Game On and Chem Lab is annoying.

Sorry for a bit of a late response, but I'd still like to answer your question.

For me individually, no, as the extra time off from school has actually helped me in focusing on SciOly rather than the daily grind of schoolwork and the like.

For my team, however, it significantly slowed down our progression, especially in our new 7th graders, as the cancellation of the Camas invite in December resulted in delayed "due" date, which let people not quite as dedicated to procrastinate a bit more.

Personally, I'm not as productive at the weekly meetings compared to my nightly work, but I can definitely see the issues that snow days impose on teams that do rely on the organization of team meetings, especially with building events and meeting with partners.

When I was competing, I would do much of my building at home, so a snow day would have meant an extra day to work. For our members without tools at home, it meant another day without supplies.

I blame 3 track/11 period days for our snow days

Hey bernard, Do you know if they're counting WiFi Lab at Regionals?

It is a trial event so medals will be awarded for it but it will not be counted in the overall team score.

On the other hand, LEAF Challenge is a pilot event that will count towards overall team scores. Today only four teams competed in that event.
