Rocks & Minerals and Fossils have been on a 3-year alternating rotation since forever. I miss R & M, I've only ever done it at Regionals (which was freaking amazing- last year, our Regional event was actually a C Div event because the guy who was supposed to make the B Div event never handed it in, so they just used the C Div one, and my partner and I scored higher on it than any of the C Div teams- our coach was the event supervisor for it and he told us that), but it used to be the only event our school was absolutely guaranteed 1st in (although we got 2nd at Nats, but that was probably because the National event was too easy so it took away their edge). We swept at Regionals: Our 4 teams got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in R & M.

I'm gonna miss R and M sooooooooooooo much. My best/almost-favorite event... It'll be back when I'm a snior, so that's good. But I'm gonna miss it so much!!
