What is the relationship between fisheries and ocean color?
So...this is kinda a sketchy question but the best I can think of is that ocean color data is used monitor things that will impact fisheries such as algal blooms and coastal pollution.
Thats kinda what I thought. It is a topic on the rules, yet when i googled it, i could find nothing. I don't really think you can assume that though as there are so many other factors that cause phytoplankton growth...and for my question: What is calcareous ooze comprised of?The only thing I can assume is that an increase in fish populations would lead to a decrease in phytoplankton population and thus leading to the water looking bluer
