actually, the official name for the advanced program (higher than honors math and advanced LA) in elementary/junior high is "PI+" (though few know PI stands for "project idea" =P). therefore, all PI+ers are often known simply as plussers.

edit: lol sorry i confused people with "plusser". i didn't really expect anyone to get it.

We have cliques at our school, but everyone genuinely respects each other. Many students are involved in multiple extracurriculars. For instance, I'm in band, science olympiad, french club, and Improv club, but I also play Varsity golf and softball. I'd say most kids at our school are brought together through their classes. There are a lot of kids at my school in honors and IB classes and whatnot. Most of them don't do academic activies, usually sports. Our high school is really competetive, so kids try to get involved with as much as possible. I think this is what keeps us from having anyone "looking down" on one another. Our school is really proud of our S.O. team, maybe not as much as our sports teams, but let's face it; sports are more exciting.

pretty much everyone at my school is at the ground, just kinda looking at the ladder, thinking about whether we want to climb it, but deciding not to because we're all too lazy. i mean, in general, we're all pretty chill with one another, but we do have our smaller cliques. there are the nerdy boys, the jock boys, the girls, and then the girls that we get along with, but don't hang out with on a regular basis. none of us really think that we're better than any of the other groups, because we all recognize that some people are just better at some things, so really, we just don't want to make a big deal out of something that all of us think is pretty ridiculous.

I actually have been told that I'm the leader of my "group". And I said there my friends not my "groupies".

That's funny that you said that, cause your crocodile avatar is looking up. Now i'm gonna keep picturing it as looking up at a ladder.
