The event is really more of a bio/environmental event than a chem event. But that doesnt bother me, since Im bad at chem.

it actually has a fair bit of chem in it. last year i did the event without finishing chemistry, and was kind of confused on certain sections.

A quick question, how do u guys study this event and study events in general? I did SO in middle school but all building events so im a newbie at this. Any suggestions?

well i haev no idea how to study for this event but yet i'm in it :]
basically you just have to study over and over and over a ton of this in your field your working in, if you can take notes in cram as much as you can onto the page.
studying for events is like, studying for a test. does that help?

i have like no old events from last year since they took them out,but this event seems like food science. What is water testing? where could i find resources for this event especially the lab part.

my recomendation? when you get the rules and backround info, it will outline stuff you need to know. go to all of the links they provide and systematically research all of the things on the list. you need to know stuff like organic compounds, pollutants, basic ecology, etc.
