I see some of you mentioned Academic Decathlon. Do you guys hate it as much as I do? We had our Regionals yesterday and unfortunately we might go to State.

yes i hate Ac Dec my team i am certian that he juges were pointing and laughing at most of our score did you have to do the essay comp with your regionals cause i was pigeon when i found out that we had to the essay at the regional
last year i enjoyed the topic better but this year the book is more interestion

I play on the golf and softball teams, and do intramural basketball (for some reason it's insanely popular and competetive at our school). I'm a manager for the girls' varsity basketball team. I do band and jazz band. French club. And then somewhere in between all of that, I have a life.

science olympiad (dynamic planet, anatomy, disease detectives, write it do it, experimental design, and pentathelon), 2 other- no sorry, technically 3 other academic things, basketball, track and field, vollyball (all during their normal seasons- i don't play club or anything) and then, if there is anytime when im not sleeping, i have a life.....sort of. there really isn't much time left.

I'm in our school's chess team, and we're pretty good, our record is 8-2 .

Now we're 9-2! (Don't worry, I won't give you the full schedule. )

we have a chess club at the middle school but not a chess team. I think it's kinda ridiculous though to pay $73 to play chess after school for an hour with your friends for 5 weeks. You can do that at the library for free!!
