Are there no invites closer to you guys because Indiana is pretty far away, even if you are on the border of the states (which I'm presuming you are) as it's probably about 80 minutes from there.

We are very close to the border, yes, and we don't mind the distance too much, especially since we have to drive 4 hours (not including changing time zones) to get down to Bloomington for our state tournament

So for the Palatine invite coming up, there will be the big dogs from Stevenson, New Trier, and IMSA.

And many other good schools as well, not just the top 3. A lot of teams from the top 15 are there.

I believe Hinsdale & Libertyville were top 5 last year?

Yes, I think Libertyville was in top 5. Not sure about Hinsdale, but I think last year was surprising with a lot of obscure teams doing extremely well.
