Who discovered electromagnetic induction, and describe his/her setup which was used to discover it

Electromagnetic induction was discovered by Michael Faraday. He wrapped two wires around opposite sides of an iron ring. He plugged one wire into a galvanometer and the other one into a battery. When he did so, he saw a transient current.

Since no one has posted in a while, I'll ask a question. Given the logic gate question on the previous page, show that its boolean algebraic representation is equivalent to the expression .
(Note that + signifies "OR", * signifies "AND", and (bar) signifies "NOT".)
Also, draw an equivalent logic gate circuit with one (4-input) gate and any necessary inverters.
