Okay, thanks. Sigh... guess I'll just use Audubon for now. I'm going to hunt down their contact information and spam them with pleas to update because it's not even just about Scioly— it's literally skewing our perspective of the world and feeding us outdated facts.

Yeah, I was looking at the list and I noticed that Grylloblatodea is still listed as an order, even though it's now part of the order Notoptera with Mantophasmatodea (which they took off the list, for some reason).

I'm pretty sure that they were on the list last time the event was offered, I remember studying about them when I did it.

A field guide (tests will be based off the Audobon) and one sheet of notes.

Oh, okay. Because I'm looking at this binder thing in the wiki and I'm really confused. But it's probably a study binder, right? Or they allowed binders back in the day?

EDIT: One more question - is it possible that a station will have something that's not an insect to trick us?

Gosh, this is going to be hard.
They used to allow binders in all of the ID events. Last time Entomology was around, we used a binder. Two years after (the second year of Herpetology), that's when they changed it to just a field guide and maybe a sheet of notes.
The event can't ask you to identify something that's not an insect. If it's not on your list, they can't ask about it, except possibly in relation to something that IS on your list.
