Re: Science Olympiad 2013-2014
I'm actually really disappointed that GeoMaps is coming as I'm going... hearing the NYers complain about it just made me more interested. Northeast Kansas beware: There's a good chance that I'll end up writing tests for invitationals (and if they don't let me do that I'm writing them anyway)

Hehehehe. I find it like this. I've never done road scholar, but I have done Geomaps. From what I hear of road scholar, take away the highway maps and the PLSS. Throw in all of geology, structural geology, and various other maps. There you have it...it becomes much more fun when you do a year of it/have actual resources.thsom wrote:Is geomapping similar to a div. C type of road scholar?
B: Crave the Wave, Environmental Chemistry, Robo-Cross, Meteo, Phys Sci Lab, Solar System, DyPlan (E and V), Shock Value
C: Microbe Mission, DyPlan (Fresh Waters), Fermi Questions, GeoMaps, Grav Vehicle, Scrambler, Rocks, Astro
Grad: Writing Tests/Supervising (NY/MI)

YES! Keep the Heat is rotating out! Mwa ha ha ha! I hate Keep the Heat(my opinion).
What is simple machines? At least Shock, Meteorology, Heredity, and Water Quality is still here.

I hate Keep The Heat too, but I'm sad to see that it's going. I would be the best on my team at it next year. Simple machines is where they have four stations with simple machines and you have to calculate the efficiency of them. I don't really want to do that, but I'll end up having to....ScienceOlympian wrote:YES! Keep the Heat is rotating out! Mwa ha ha ha! I hate Keep the Heat(my opinion).

Is there a comprehensive list of all Div. C events for next year? I want to start preparing.
