Now that draft list is for the B division, is there usually much difference between that list and the one for C division?

They were the same for R+M. I think the only differences in the rules will be different things and processes contestants must do in the event.

Either me or my friend will be doing this event next year and we want to know if it would be better to use the audubon field guide or make our own and why.

Last time I did this event (3 or 4 years ago) we were allowed to use both. if you can only have one, I'd suggest making it yourself. You learn a lot more while making, and its organized to your preference.

Just checked the draft rules and they do allow both [for now atleast]. What do you recommend putting in the binder?

hmmm could the binder be you feild guide? ;)
anyways i cant find a good feild guide to get most of my info (i just dont trust the internet as i do books :D )
Audubon-indept but no vertabrate info
Smithsonian- bad bad bad could find half the specimins
Simon and Schuster's- ok but very hard to find a genus and index was usless
so it looks like im making my own feild guide :D but i still want a good book to get the info from any ideas?
