It's really great to see so many schools getting involved this early in the season! I have a feeling that this years' regionals and states will be a lot more competitive than in the past, regardless of what the invitational results are, both in NorCal and in SoCal. I noticed Elkhorn is going to both the Churchill and the Muscatel invitational––Churchill is definitely going to have to step up their game if they want to go to Nationals this year, Elkhorn went in the past and they've consistently done well at the state level. Hecka brute, I'm really excited to see how it plays out!
EDIT: Not to mention that Hopkins is back, and going to the Churchill invite!

Really excited for the first C division invitational too at Troy High School, glad they started it and with Troy's recent success not a surprise... I'm pretty sure Mira Loma is going but anyone know any other high schools going??

Thank you! I was surprised too, after analyzing the seniors and juniors I realized that my skill set was really not that necessary...still apprehensive about what events I'll get...

No other schools from Northern California are going as far as I know. From SoCal, North Hollywood, historically a very good team will be there, as well as Northwood, one of the better teams from our regionals. Also the school Muscatel feeds into.

I just emailed Mike McKee! If it all checks out, at the Bay Area tournament my friends and I will be proctoring:
- Disease Detectives (B) (I will be doing this one)
- Helicopters (B)
- Heredity (B)
- Sounds of Music (B)
- Chemistry Lab (C)
- Technical Problem Solving (C)
Hopefully I'll see some of you there!
EDIT: I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we will also likely be at the Stanislaus tournament and NorCal state finals.
