I still think it's the Jack Union Club rather than the flag now. If you look at that link, it says that the Jack Union club was bombed (it says it in a caption, in the body it just says demolished), and it's also a club and the hint says "a common hangout".

It was early in the morning when I knocked on zyzzyva98's penthouse door. He answered the door, paper in hand, and a mug of coffee in the other. I calmly told him that I would be fixing the balcony beneath his apartment, and just wanted to make sure he understood. He nodded, and said he would be on his balcony also. I inwardly smiled.

After breaking into the apartment below, I careful taped timed explosives to the underside of Z's balcony, and as I was about to leave the complex, I heard TheGenius knock urgently on Z's door, and hurried him out of his abode. I silently swore. I had missed my chance. The bomb went off and no casualties were reported. Scioly News Network attributed it to a super solar flare. Such rookies.

While a bit shaken, I went after my next victim. They called him "The Minter." Regardless, I sent the Sciolyville officers a new clue.

Jack Union did refer to the Union Jack. What I meant by "bomb" was removed. As the Union Jack is usually in the top left corner of a flag, I "removed" it and replaced it with stars, referring to the 50 stars on the US flag, which is Z's avatar. "Jimmy" referred to Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia. You can probably figure out why I put that segment in there.

Armlangster makes me think of Lance Armstrong. The arm part is only a small correlation, but Langster is a type of bike.
