I can't open this link, so I assume you've removed it. If not you need to remove it RIGHT NOW. Posting copies online is a clear copyright violation and fundamentally hurts SO. The main source of funding for SO is via the registration fees / sale of the rules manual. No money from selling the rules manual == no future SO.

Sorry if this question was already asked in the preliminaries of WQ, but why is Water Quality under study events instead of lab events? It matches most every characteristics of a lab event.

Very surprising to me also, however, there is only one section of the event that could be considered lab (part c, water testing), and only one section of that section involves actual testing (salinity).

Does anybody know why we have to use a salinometer this year? I can see like mebe 1-2% salt concentrations but up to 10% i was just wondering if anybody knew?

Probably so we can get a taste of what it is like in the field.
Also does anyone have some really good macroinvertebrate websites or good practice tests?(other than tufts wright center)

So do we need to know actually how to test all the 9 WQI tests or do we just need to know about the tests? I know that the actual testing is limited to salinity.

You should have some knowledge on how the other 9 tests are done. They may give you some test results and ask you to interpret them.
