I'm excited for this event next year. I just found a pocket guidebook titled "ROCKS & MINERALS" in a thrift store and I've been studying from it for about a week. I think I kind of took finding the book as a good omen.

Meant to ask... This event is supposed to place fossils, so, would we be able to carry in a guidebook and a binder like we were able to for fossils, or just a binder?

Based on the old rules, I believe you're allowed a binder and a guidebook.

Guidebooks are great and all, but a well made binder outweighs all guidebooks. Trust me.
