To be honest, last year was the first year I went to more than one competition in a year, and one was nationals...7th grade I didn't actually compete, I helped build the StC so I got a medal there. 8th grade I won 3 medals, but I was on the B team so I didn't get to compete at states. 9th grade I didn't win any medals because it was my first year in C and I had a month to prepare for regionals, again I was on the B team. Last year I won 2 medals at states (no regionals or invitationals here).

Embarrassingly enough, I have only earned two over two years. One year of two medals, one year of failure...

Next year however I am planning to up my participation to 5 events, and I hope to medal in at least 4 of them. I'm already starting to study for next year!

I have 49 medals over 13 competitions, eight of which were invites.

I have 25 many of which are from this year . I also got a 6th place medal in JYC at nats in 2009.

I have 21 medals from competitions in 6 years, with regionals this year left. I also have 1 for getting 6th place at states as a team in my 8th grade year, but that's unofficial.

Heyhey, I updated my medal/ribbon count today!
This makes now 18 medals and 3 ribbons in three years (didn't earn any in sixth grade)- ten of which are form last year, and six of those from invites. (Two from Nats, but that was a team placing medal and a thanks-for-being-here medal.)
This year, all medals and ribbons are from invites, because I'm doing more events. Regionals isn't for another three weeks or so.

11 medals in 4 years (8 competitions)... so far.... i still have states left this year.
I didn't get any in 7th grade, so that was a fail. In 8th grade, i got 2 at regionals and 1 at states, and in 9th grade, i got 5 at regionals andddd 0 at states (worst day of my life, ever). And this year, I got none at invites but i medaled in all 3 of my events at regionals.
Yeah, I earn medals very erratically. I'm such a fail
