Looking at the past 8 years, I'll be quite happy with a government that does not get anything done. I'd rather have a deadlocked government than the one that limits my freedoms in a unanimous fashion. Related to that, I'd rather have an incompetent friendly good person than a competent evil person as my president.
who said anything about limiting freedoms? we need to move forward to be a competent place in the areas of science and research, and other costs for war is cutting into funding for all of that.
i don't usually think of our president as friendly, as some of his policies are not citizen-friendly, eco-friendly, or economy-friendly and definitely not competent.

i believe that politics should be replaced with science olympiad. The team that gets first in nats controls the country for a year, but can make no laws regarding scio in their favor. =)

On an semi-useful note: who is actually trying to woo the voters who play videogames? Millions of people bought Halo 3 last year - are they concerned with politics? If somebody got the "Halo Vote" that would be quite a few people. However, I don't really think this sort of game has the sort of power to draw tons of gamers into the McCain fold.

And, yes I know, I don't mean just Halo - it's merely a good example of a blockbuster game. GTA 4 would work as an example, too.

So, this leads me to two very relevant questions:

Will McCain actually use super-power weapon vetoes instead of just doing some paperwork? I'd totally vote for that kind of ability.
And, why do I suddenly have a deep desire for a BLT?
