I wasn't even in middle school when my team got to Nationals in 2008, but I went to Washington DC this year. I saw the Natural History Museum and I was officially obsessed. :D :D :D

Another thing that really was awesome at the nats in 2008 was the tour of the capital building on of my senators set up. We went into the whisper room and our guide told us that because of the size of the room, and before amplification was an option, things were built so that sound could be amplified by the architecture of the room. She told us to stand on a dot on the floor, and she went to the other side of the room, which was packed with people. she said"can you here me?" and it sounded like she was right next to us. Officially the coolest thing i've ever experienced!

I mean, I think my username makes it pretty obvious as to what I like.
The aquarium sucked, though. We had to pretend we were eleven years old. Even the really tall people tried. :P
So, we bought the cheapest tickets.
And then we couldn't see anything exciting. :|

My best memory was getting a medal... It's not really big for some people but for me personally it is..
My partner and I were stressing out the whole day about Write It Do It..
She wasn't able to finish the Writing part and I took about 18 minutes for the Building part and we were freaking out.
We thought we were going to do horrible. After hearing 45 other events get called up.. it was finally WIDI Division B's turn.
When we didn't hear our name for 6th, we just looked at each other and frowned. The team sitting in front of us was called up for fourth place and I recalled their builder finishing after me. We then heard our name called up for 2nd place and my partner and I ran down the steps and hugged each other like we haven't seen each other for years! She was crying and I was really happy and we hugged all the way up to the stage. It was really embarassing..
