How can you not like Trajectory
Now you've hurt my feelings

Trajectory was a popular event at our school. Think about it. You get to build a catapult and launch stuff. That's the event in a nutshell.

Well, since this is our school's first truly "competitive" SciOly year, most people saw it as being a tad confusing and difficult to make.

On ours, Rocks and Minerals was one (why I ended up in it), and now Disease Detectives, Anatomy, and Remote Sensing are the events no one wants.
EDIT: Someone please move to General Chat outside of Posting Games. Not sure why it ended up in here.
That's funny, in our school, Rocks and Minerals was the most popular event, probably because the jr. high coach was an expert on them and had some really nice samples.
For us, it was definitely It's About Time, and most building events.
The events everyone wanted were Ecology and Chem lab.

Basically most of the study events...ya. Seriously, our juniors, sophomores, and seniors are just sooo lazy. I just wanna rant on and on....sigh.
I personally love events which people dont want, because its easier to medal in them, and i actually like study events (DP, DD, Fossil, and of course, Fossils).

meterology and ecology were both ones that no one wanted. i would have taken meterology but i had a conflict.
btw, the shift key doesn't work on this computer, which is why no capitolization. i feel like such a grammar fail.

Caps lock. On for caps, then off. And there are 2 shift keys.

Or, type it into Word, have auto-correct fix it, and then copy and paste.

For us, it seems to be Anatomy, Meteorology, Battery Buggy, Physical Science Lab, Fossils, Ecology, Pentathlon, and Wright Stuff. We got good places at competition in several of those events, but I have a suspicion that was the result of night-before cram sessions instead of actual studying. Basically, the people on these events from last year are mostly gone, and none of the "veterans" like me seem to want those events (mostly we simply refuse to study or build anything), so the new people are stuck with them. It's not a happy system, but somehow it works.

For us it was Mission Possible, Ornithology, Fossils, Disease Detective (even though I could have done it, but had a conflict), and Mousetrap Vehicle. Also Remote Sensing, so I did it alone and got 2nd at regionals.
