really? we just use wood. it isn't very easy making sleds out of pine. but, it is good size and the right weight so its good.

What is an example of a golden car run please (formatted as mass, time)

I used balsa and masonite. I got 1st at regionals, but 35th at states. (stupid guy had the polarity reversed-----Uggh)

well, we finished packing up our car of tomorrow to the point where it is ready for impound today. any suggestions as to what tools i mite need?

not on the event (DUDE WHY DOESN'T NJ GET SOME EPIC TRIAL EVENTS LIKE THESE!)
but usually you should bring extras of the stuff you used while building. nails, screws, power tools, hammers, etc.
bringing some duct tape and some CA glue wouldn't hurt too, for last minute repairs.
