Hmmm I don't seem to be very good at this.....Ahem. I mean, very well Pleiades, you have foiled my murder plans twice, but no matter (By the way, i thought I was being clever with inflated=pufferfish avatar and rocky= Rocky mountains=colorado. Oh well.)
Anyway, my next victim has had a long standing grudge against me. He may think he is brilliant, but I can assure you that his comments shed no light on the situation.

I really shouldnt meddle, but seriously, did you even read the clue? There definitely needs to be a rule preventing an officer from preventing him or her self from protecting themselves. Lame.

Well mister Assasinator If your making a rule about that then I will have to say that is one of the few rules that is off linits for the Assasiantor because it makes it alot easier for you to kill officers. So sorry we can still protect ourselves

Well, a rule more like "at least one officer needs to protect someone other than themself, unless they have good reason to believe it is them" or "You cant protect yourself more than 3 times in a row". Also, officers can protect officers. Its not an implemented rule, but its just a suggestion.

Just leave the rules the way they are okay when you start making those kinds of rules you give yourself an advantage. Besides if we just keep protecting ourselves you can kill whoever you want.
