lets see... i have a long list of these

1. Twilight - Horrible, horrible book
2. Johnny Tremain- we had to read this in school
3. Dandelion wine- school
4. the Egypt game- never finished it
5. this ties between great expectations and this one book we read in fourth grade, about a toad... and it was a chapter book too
6. this may not count, but the fairy magic series... it is for like,1st graders, but they are like all the same story

what is it with people who don't like eragon... it is a really good book

actually, that's what i had to do too. it's probably not a half bad book if you skim the first half of the book and don't have to write a book report on it :?
mostly the first part of his expectations or whatever is soooo loooooonggggg... but then one part in the middle is okay.
i dunno if it should really be considered one of the worst books.

...however, in 7th grade we had to read Johnny Tremain. that was horrible. SUCH a boring book.
and i tried reading The Metamorphosis because my mom was making me, but it was so dumb i hid it and thankfully my mom forgot :P

Technically, we had a choice of what book to read. I began with great expectations, but after a week, and 2 chapters in, a gave up and read "the Good Earth". In comparison, i got through that in about 2.5 hours, and it was a thousand times better.

If anyone needs an idea of the types of books we read in our district, one of our 7th grade reading books was about a democratic group of bunnies that engage in warfare with a bunny tyrant group, and they all end up decapitated

Yeah I had to answer like 5 pages of questions and then when school started we had to write a bunch of papers and had many discussions about it. It made me wish I wasn't in accelerated L.A.

I don't like most of the books i've had to read for school just because they're not the type of books I like.

I read the whole twilight series and I felt it was ok...I think I liked them more before billions of people became obbssesed with them. I didn't hate them though cause then I would have stopped at the Twilight.

the rest of the books we read that year were really bad though.

Watership Down is amazing! I actually just read it about a month ago. So what if it is about bunnies? That makes it all the better.
