actually, that's what i had to do too. it's probably not a half bad book if you skim the first half of the book and don't have to write a book report on ittrombonegirl23 wrote:Great Expectations. mostly the first part of his expectations or whatever is soooo loooooonggggg... but then one part in the middle is okay.
i dunno if it should really be considered one of the worst books.
...however, in 7th grade we had to read Johnny Tremain. that was horrible. SUCH a boring book.
and i tried reading The Metamorphosis because my mom was making me, but it was so dumb i hid it and thankfully my mom forgot
Yeah I had to answer like 5 pages of questions and then when school started we had to write a bunch of papers and had many discussions about it. the rest of the books we read that year were really bad though.
...last year, i read Into Thin Air in language arts. now THERE'S a book where everybody dies. AND it's nonfiction. and it was too long. bleh.
