The ID clue says "can you keep the heat?"
The sassy probably did thermo/keep the heat

Yeah, I'm quite confused about that. Also maybe sassy is TCS? He's the first person that pops to mind for thermo.Tailsfan101 wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 12:12 pm Obviously a Vigenere cipher, but as to the key, I have no idea right now. A Google search of "a strong performer from a certain Englishman's woodland" turns up Gary Woodland, a pro golfer, but neither "Gary" nor "Woodland" work as a key. "A strong performer" could refer to a strong SO team, but we'd need to know what "a certain Englishman's woodland" means first.
Pennsylvania! Literally "Penn's woodland"Tailsfan101 wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 12:12 pm Obviously a Vigenere cipher, but as to the key, I have no idea right now. Good job with the Pennsylvania riddle! I was also thinking PA for some reason but I didn't make that concrete connection. Here's a slightly different take: waffletree is going to Harriton, which is a strong SO team (strong performer), and she came from Bala Cynwyd (bala kin-WOOD). Kind of a long stretch but whatever.lindsmaurer wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 2:14 pmPennsylvania! Harriton as a key decodes it to
"firstcorinthiansthirteen"
Which is in JoeyC's sig
I'll protect waffletree just in caseMadCow2357 wrote: ↑October 1st, 2019, 3:41 pmGood job with the Pennsylvania riddle! But yeah, I'd agree that JoeyC is the target. He also did thermo.
