It is here!

I want to thank everyone who took their time to write a test (or two, or more) for our invitational. Special thanks to Boca Raton and UFSO. You rock! For the first time ever, we did not need to prepare 10+ events for our invitational and the test quality was very good, if not being a little too challenging. But, not many complained, so it is all good :)

Also, congratulations to River City Science, the official winners!
Congrats to RCSA! Awesome to see all of the people that helped OSS out with this one. :D
I personally want to thank Boca Raton Science Olympiad members and their alumni for helping out with this invitational by creating high quality tests. Last year, it was very hard for our school to find test writers for the invy. Without you guys, this invy would have been almost impossible. Next time we go to the same comp. (MIT i think), I wan to say thanks again in person (so we should meet up lol) . (especially to Alyssa, Sophia, and Pepperonipi).
This assistance proves that science olympiad is much more than competition; it is also about helping each other make science more fun and available to other inexperienced/experienced schools. . So thanks again!

And Congrats to RCSA! It is amazing to see how fast their high school team is growing.
I’m glad to have contributed to the OSS Invite as a Boca High alum, along with current Boca Raton competitors! I’m happy that everything went smoothly. I hope that students will use our exams as resources to study from in order to improve. I’m also excited to return as a writer for your invite next year. See you guys at UF Regionals! I’ll make sure to visit!

Hi all! Sorry for joining this thread so late :)

I'm one of the members of the RCSA Science Olympiad committee board/competitors at River City Science Academy currently extending the invitation to others to join our Division B Invitations on January 11, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida.

If you are interested, please do not hesitate to see the following link with the Invitationals information here: https://rcsamhs.org/index.php/component ... ompetition OR contact me here or our SciOly's board email ASAP if necessary (the email to contact our board directly is in the link)

Thank you guys!

Also thank you to OSS for hosting us in their past Invitationals competition(s) this year so far, it was nice reuniting with a couple of my OSS friends!

OSS got 2nd place at Chattahoochee Invitational with an official score of 136 (should have been 112)
Fulton Science (GA) was 1st with 105 points
Piedmont IB (NC) took 3rd place with 161
Jay M Robinson (NC) and Dodgen (GA) received 4th and 5th place respectively.

There was a mistake in Mousetrap Vehicle, the scores of Team Mercury (Team A) and Team Bromine (Team B) were switched.

Congratulations to OSS for an awesome performance! I'm excited to see how OSS and Boca Raton will perform at MIT next month. Not gonna lie, I have high expectations for both teams, especially with strong performances early in the season (Boca Raton - 1st place at UGA; OSS - 2nd place at Chattahoochee). I'm hoping this momentum carries onto the big invites next year.

Note that Chattahoochee was a Div B invitational, so that was OSS' Div B team.

Thanks for the clarification! I’m still very excited about Boca Raton C and OSS C at MIT though, and also looking forward to future placements of OSS B. Congratulations to everyone again!

Does anyone have the RCSA Invy results?
