See you at Jeffrey Trail? (at Meteo? and Dynamic Planet?)

My partner and I will be the people laughing during the whole test
Yes you will! I am writing and proctoring both of those tests!

Does the Coriolis Force act at right angles in the Southern Hemisphere?
Our main coach says that it is false, but I believe that is true.
Can someone clarify this?

I am legit scared of Umaroth so I need to be as prepared as possible

Coriolis force always acts at perpendicular to motion. In the Northern Hemisphere it deflects motion to the right, and in the Southern Hemisphere it deflects to the left.

Hey!
I am desperate for info so here are some questions:
What is the difference between a frontal thunderstorm and a thermal thunderstorm?
What is an atmospheric river?

And for Umaroth...
What time are you proctoring Meteorology and Dynamic Planet?
I have the last time slot for Meteorology and the first time slot for Dynamic Planet
2021 events: Fossils, DP, Meteo, Orni

I am the head proctor, but I am also on the invitational board of directors so I might be in and out of my events on other business. You'll recognize me, tall Asian kid with glasses and super short hair.

I haven't heard the terms before, but i would assume a frontal thunderstorm might be formed more from temperature contrasts associated with a (cold?) front (so like formed from a boundary between two different airmasses) and a thermal thunderstorm from the sun's uneven heating creating updrafts/thermals. (I'm just taking that from my head so i could be wrong >w<)

An atmospheric river is a long thin band in the atmosphere that moves water vapor from the tropics elsewhere to redistribute moisture. (just a reminder but you can always look at the question marathon- this was already answered :) )

This is correct.

why do I always have to compete with all these smart people?
WHY?!
Question: How do you read water vapor imagery?
Is it similar to IR and visible light imagery? or is it different?

Thank you for your assistance, but I still think that I'm going to fail at regionals
I wish that my partner's didn't abandon me for the 30th time and that I didn't have to learn some Precalc
I also wonder where the heck my Meteo partner went. Maybe I got her sick at JT cause I was having a coughing outbreak in all my events, but I think I infected my DP/Fossils partner more, but he still is attending school
