Ok, a few things.
Zeus is Athena's father, not sure why people are saying things about Poseidon, since Athena sprung from Zeus' head fully formed.
And "stare" might not be "stare" like "to look at something".
In latin, there is a verb sto, stare, steti (i think) status, meaning "to stand". If that helps.
Though there are different parts, the form stare (the infinitive) literally means "to stand"
So if Guardia means guard, then it could very well mean "To stand in guard". If that helps.

And karatekid, my name is "gneissisnice", like "gneiss (the rock) is (is) nice(kind, cool, etc)".

I accuse gh of being the assassinator because starpug had a really big hunch and made some claims that if he was wrong...well would mean we would have a very different starpug
