By no means do I give Kraemer a 100% chance of making it out of SoCal, but I’d give them the advantage at this point. Has looked strong throughout the invite season, and looks to be in contention for a top 10 nationals spot after barely missing out of nationals by 1 point at states last year.
I would think Jeffery Trail will go to nationals again. If you compare these two teams, Jeffery Trail has been doing slightly better at invites than Kraemer. The only time Kraemer beat Jeffery Trail was at regionals. They were twelve points apart. But I don't know, Kraemer has a very good chance of making it to nationals if they don't bomb a build event.

Why is no one talking about Oak Valley?

I think SAA (Illinois) is going to make the top ten this year. They've only been to nats twice but they look extremely strong this year.

Edit: Thank you to my teammates for posting this while I was getting water :))

On the subject of predictions, though, I do think that Marie Murphy will place in the top 10 in division B and that Adlai E. Stevenson will place in the top 5 in division C.

I mean, they only won regionals by one point this year. Also, one would think that if they were really strong enough to make the top 10, they would have gotten better than 5th at Solon. Not everyone is even putting SSA in the top 10, so why would they put SAA in? Marie Murphy seems to be doing better than them.

I don't know. I don't personally talk about them because they're a San Diego team, so I'm not as cultured. But I think most people are talking about Kraemer and Jeffery Trail because of their rivalry and their point difference from last year.

Oak Valley took 1st and 2nd at regionals ahead of Carmel Valley, in addition to two other teams in the top ten.

Ok, I was pressured by sciolyperson1 to post Div B predictions with CMS outside of the top 3. The following predictions are under the assumption that Community bombs 3+ events:

1.) Kennedy
2.) Solon
3.) Beckendorff
4.) Community (My real predictions would have CMS at second, and everything else pushed back one)
5.) Daniel Wright
6.) Paul J. Gelinas
7.) Springhouse
8.) Piedmont
9.) Kraemer
10.) PA #2 ;)

They use ninth graders.
