Yeah, it would be nice if they organized a B invitational around Reading, because then it wouldn't be too far for teams from NE, SE or Central, which usually can't go to Solon. (For me, the Solon invite would be about 5 and a half hours away, way longer than I want to spend on a bus.)

Very true, except it gets really weary when it goes over 5 hours.

Long bus ride? Fun?

Not with my SO team, especially at 5 in the morning. Basically, half the people are somehow incredibly awake and then there's the rest of us who just want to sleep. The fully-awake people talk loudly and the half-asleep people tell them to shut up (nicely). And then by the time we get to competition, everyone is annoyed and some people are like this  but we all manage to cooperate in events. (The bus ride home is much nicer.)

Not if you're in a creaky regular school bus that really isn't that great in the first place that also has pretty poor shock absorbers and you're going over countless hills and potholes. Meanwhile the seats are really uncomfortable too, and the people are squashed together so everyone fits. Although the time we had our bus break down on I-80 was fun. :D

However, I can't honestly say that I think long bus rides are fun. If it's shorter than I'm okay with that, and it could be potentially fun at some points, but unless you're riding in a charter bus I can't agree with you.
