Eagle Hill, yes... Being a former Gelinas person I obviously know the team very well.... I hope they do well this year, and I think they will! But EAgle Hill is def a favorite...gyourkoshaven wrote:We haven't started either (We just need more to do). I presume Gelinas and Eagle Hill are favorites again?

Re: New York 2010
Does anyone know anything beyond what it says on newyorkscioly.org about the Protein Modeling trial event in C? It doesn't seem to be running at our Regionals- makes sense, it looks like there's a lot of setup involved- but it looks interesting and it ties in with another project I'm doing outside of school really well.

What makes you think that it won't run at regionals?Phenylethylamine wrote:Does anyone know anything beyond what it says on newyorkscioly.org about the Protein Modeling trial event in C? If you are a betting person, I'll give you five to one that it will.

Re: New York 2010
I actually only thought it wasn't running at Regionals because the captains of my team didn't list it when they put up all the Regional events at the last meeting. I've now been told that they don't know either, but assume that it will run.Flavorflav wrote:What makes you think that it won't run at regionals?Phenylethylamine wrote:Does anyone know anything beyond what it says on newyorkscioly.org about the Protein Modeling trial event in C? It's ok, the team captains just arent on the ball as much as I was.Phenylethylamine wrote:I actually only thought it wasn't running at Regionals because the captains of my team didn't list it when they put up all the Regional events at the last meeting. Re: New York 2010
Our first meeting is October 29th that surprised me when I found out I thought it would be much earlier.

Re: New York 2010
Ours was going to be the first week in October, but the state budget wasn't passed and teams couldn't register, so we decided to not start until the budget was passed. I was really looking forward to it too.

Re: New York 2010
Could you not get rulebooks or something? Or was it like a funding issue? Or did you just decide not to start?
I think if its the last one I would have started anyway so you have more time to work.
