Bedford is going very unstacked and we have mostly people doing events they've never done before. Our coach predicted 20th for our A/X team lol. I guess we're just doing it for experience and to get 6/7th graders more used to competing or something. Also maybe as more preparation for Cornell, for which we're fully stacking. I'm personally not going to garnet but I think the results will be interesting. Good luck to everyone competing!

Thanks Satvic and Sciolyperson! It was a real nail-biter. I'm sure a lot of teams who have been here before can relate to this... We were 8th last year, so when Jaime was about to start, I said to one of our coaches next to me, "it'll be fine as long as we're at least 8th". Then Jaime says, "And now for the top 7...." I thought, "there goes that chance!". Then when he called out 7, 6, 5... I looked at the other coach and said "we missed it", but fate smiled down on us. Because I was sure John and his teams from Harlan Rowe were going to be right up there!! Their teams were powerhouses!

I don't think P.J. Gelinas went to Garnet Valley last year either, or am I wrong? Either way, good luck to all in a few weeks!

Yes, congratulations Dr. Cubbin! Unfortunately Harlan Rowe finished in that dreaded 8th spot this year. Hoping to improve for Garnet! See you in a few days!

Yep, I have no doubt too. Hopefully you guys will beat Grover, but I'm not really sure about that yet.
BTW, Grover is another MS in our same school district. They seem to be doing really well this year.
