Tests are written by Cornell SciOly Club members, and I think they do a pretty good job

Did anyone else get bumped out of their regular thermo spot if they also signed up for the afternoon build component? We got everything we wanted, but if I chose the build block at the end of the day, we got bumped from the regular (and most important!) spot.

Yep, we did as well. Seems like they deleted it.
They also deleted every buggy block...?

And then two opened up. And later they were gone again. I'm sure they will make these glitches right.
Does anyone know if they will be using hand loaders or auto loaders for the invitational and national for boomilever. They used hand loaders last year for towers but I don’t think hand loaders are viable for nationals.

Given the people that typically run the balsa events at Nationals, I would expect autoloaders at that point. I doubt the National ESes will come for the invitational.
1) Solon - Wouldn't be surprised at all to see them fully stack for this invitational. They seem just as great as last year.
2) Beckendorff - Some members left their team, so I wouldn't be surprised if they placed anywhere from 2nd to 4th.
3) Community - They seem to be keeping the momentum from last year, and I can see them (or us) moving anywhere from 2nd to 4th.
4) Marie Murphy - Strong Illinois team: don't forget about them, just because they didn't make nats last year.
5) Gelinas - Seemingly strong team: if they stacked more heavily, they could possibly beat out Marie Murphy
6) Springhouse - Definetly a bit weaker, they've always lost to Gelinas at LISO and Rustin, and I can't imagine anything different.
7) SSA - While losing some team members, they still find themselves in a great position to possibly beat Springhouse at states.
8) Piedmont IB - Great team, they just don't usually perform optimally at invitationals.
9) Bedford - Could possibly interchange with Bay Academy
10) Bay Academy - With one bad event, I could see them easily lose to Bedford
