Question:How is firn formed?
I cant hide it sorry
Firn is a composition between granular ice and glacier ice. Firn is formed when granular ice is compressed.
yup
questions: 1) Explain the two main sediment transport pathways, active subglacial transport and passive supraglacial/englacial transport
2) What is the terminal moraine and what does it consist of?

I'm pretty sure subglacial transport transports sediment to the bottom of the glaciers via moulins and crevasses, not to mention the constant moving motion of the glacier driving sediment underneath if. Supraglacial and englacial is to the side of the glacier and into the glacier; englacial is by the objects getting caught in the neve-firn-ice process, and supraglacial by glacial movemnt. The terminal moraine is the moraine that marks the end of a glacier's path that is where it reached the furthest before dying because some politicians don't believe in global worming. it consists of the material the glacier was shoving forward.

don't look at this its fake news now
When fresher, cleaner snow falls to be compressed in the summer, versus in the winter when there is less moisture and dirt and dust mixes in with the lesser amount of snow, dI luting it and darkening the compression band more.
Oops, thanks for reminding me
