It's because (Or so I've been told) the way the practices go from TJ compared to VHS are completely different and that it isn't as enjoyable, therefore none of the TJ people try out. I have no idea about Warren Central. Raymond has only picked up in the past few years and I don't know if Warren has even gone to state, so maybe it'll take some time. Valpo used to get top five but ever since I think 2014 they've been getting 6-10.
Most of the Valparaiso High School team is from Ben Franklin which would explain their placing not saying their bad but they are no TJ

But HerpNerd I think as long as you can have the same type coaches for the teams and the same type of team style (If its a lot of parent coaching or kids do a lot on their own, practice schedules, how the team is divided, etc..) because what I've noticed is really important is staying on a constant schedule that someone can adapt to and stay on that and good coach-student relations so that they don't argue or hold grudges against one another you can set up a good Middle school to High school transition.

From what I've heard they usually quit or join other clubs

If you look on the Indiana scioly twitter you can see the top 6 placements in each event. I don't know if they release whole results though.

Edit: Actually it looks like there are a few events missing: Write it Do it, Protein Modeling, Mousetrap Vehicle, Sounds of Music, and Experimental Design.
Have no idea why though.

Did Carmel send their best teams here? I heard that they didn't but I just want to varify.
