Every DD test (except nationals) is basically identical. You get a scenario, punch a few numbers into a calculator, guess an illness, list Koch's postulates, and define terms that anyone who reads the wiki would know the meaning of (or, at least that's every test in the history of Hawaii SciOly). Div C is a little more insightful and focuses in areas more difficult than those in Div B, but it's the same in the sense that tests are monotonous. Now, many states are more competitive than Hawaii, and test difficulty may vary, so I might not be that credible, but that's my argument.

"Basically" is the only thing I agree with. But, if the tests are all the same. How can people get high scores if they study for the same thing? In DD the people in the event know about the same as each other. But if you can do it as efficiently as possible, You'll 1 up the other teams. Also, you said that all tests are basically the same, there are different scenarios or studies that you need to observe/examine. True, there is vocabulary that is pretty much on every test, but there IS A LOT OF VOCABULARY. A LOT. Mind not changed smh

A well-written DD test will not have you list Koch's postulates, at the very least.

Maybe not specifically the postulates, but most tests have at least one question asking to list something, which is what I was getting at. Whether it be the components of the epidemiological triad, the food production chain, or the chain of infection, there is usually something of that sort that grants a few free points to nearly every competitor.

Next question: Fermi is a hard event. Change my mind
