Southern CA States - Troy got 82

PA States - Harriton got 65

CO States - Poudre got 80

None of this means very much of course, as the strength of state competitions vary. But still interesting, especially if you delve into the intrastate data.

I think that Grand Rapids Christian can do pretty well. Maybe in the top 20.
I see that you're from Plymouth Christian. You guys are pretty competitive at state level. Good job this year.

Just throwing this out there:
LASA from Texas got 38 at state and beat the second place team by 100 points.
I'm not in Division C and I don't know which teams are the powerhouses but personally, I think that they are going to do really well this year.

Looking at their score. Can anyone from Texas tell me what it means to get a "0" in an event? It seems like every team has five zeros on their score sheet. That must mean that those sores were dropped, right? I agree that state scores don't mean a lot when going to nationals but if we're going to list them, please leave a note about what the score means. A 38 with the five worst scores dropped means something totally different than a 65 with all twenty three scores included.

Texas has 28 events. Each team picks 5 events not to compete in to bring their event total down to 23.

oooooh. That makes sense now looking at their scores again. It's interesting how differently states run their own tournaments.

But South Carolina isn't really a powerhouse. Getting a 65 in PA or something is really good, but SC, maybe not so much.
