If a test is easy, a top team may underperform by missing a couple questions or so and thus suffer in rankings. In a more difficult test, such as the Nationals one, they would truly be able to showcase their abilities. Also, congrats to all the NC teams competing at nats, most especially Enloe for getting 10th (!!!) and Piedmont for getting 6th! I really think NC teams were underestimated this year and strongly outperformed their expectations at nationals.
