MLHS isn't doing Invitationals this year again...
So how do you prepare for regionals and state? Do you basically do full invitationals in-house with materials from the test exchange?
We study, build and test on our resources from past years. It's what happens in a 4A school with 2400+ students (2nd largest high school in the state) and yet only have 1-2 teams.

Back with more updates!

We seem to have a filled team. 12 people committed, three or four others on the fence so we'll see if/how they fit in during the next few weeks. Lots of interest in events I've never seen much heart put into in my years doing SO, so I'm excited to see how it goes this year. Really young team, but really spirited. We'll be testing for event teams next week.

This is the earliest we've ever started prepping, so I hope we do better this year! We've lost a lot of senior power, but I have a lot of faith right now.

Camas is always months ahead of everyone.
Bernard, what event are you supervising this year?

Oof. Camas sure looked good last year. No doubt that they'll look great this year as well...

A quick question Kyanite: did the national medalists from Camas last year graduate? I believe that's what I heard from a Camas Papermaker in Ohio last year, and I'm just curious... haha I love your mascot by the way. :D

Thanks, we look pretty solid this year got some good underclassmen. We had one of them graduate the rest are juniors and a sophomore (who is an absolute beast I have never seen him not study). And thank you its a pretty fun mascot

Tested for events and got our roster to 15! For the first time in my experience, we had more than enough people. Crazy.

I've officially taken the helm as team captain, so that's a thing, I guess.
