Possibly, although it looks like it's usually customary for the sassy to confirm the officers before giving the first clue.

The only significant thing I can think of is that D-R-U-M-E-R would be an anagram of "murder", and there is no actual painting titled Ich Wunder. It translates to "I wonder" from German.
I wonder...Iwonder...

iwonder.
Murder iwonder?
But I still think that the Sassy would say something about it.

Sassy hasn't even confirmed the officers yet...

I think it might be an ID clue. Look at iwonder's profile and he was last active yesterday despite not having posted in the past year.

Eh considering this topic was posted 14 hours after iwonder logged on I'd chalk this up to at most red herring and at the least just a coincidence.

Boarding call! Invented in 1804, the steam locomotive quickly became a primary mode of transport for migrants and industry. Though the first railroads were constructed in the northeast, with many lines running down the shore for transportation of goods, by the end of the century, the Transcontinental Railroad had united west and east. This painting of the locomotive by Howard Fogg captures the spirit of the states: always moving forward.

So the painting linked is called Lima Locomotive 6405 Pulling The Maple Leaf.

Lima Locomotive Works was a company based in Ohio(possibly significant). Also it may be a typo but it could also be significant that sassy left out the "r" in Howard Fogg.

The quote in sassy'a signature is from the novel I am a Pilgrim.

Edit: Lima Locomotive Works merged with Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1951, a Philadelphia based railway company. If we can't figure anything out then I might protect myself because I live(practically) in Philadelphia and I tried to solve a clue using railroads in game 114.

Okay, I've been brainstorming and I've got a few things; some are likely coincidences, some are hopefully not:

- Howard Fogg graduated from New Trier High School (IL).
- The steam locomotive was invented by Richard Trevithick, but the first practical steam locomotive was made later by John Blenkinsop (info from Wikipedia). It could be part of a kill clue (John Richardsim) but those are pretty common names so it's probably a coincidence.
- "Always moving forward" is the slogan of BAE Systems, a weapons and arms manufacturer. Again, probably nothing but it's worth mentioning.
