Well, Jose Altuve plays for the Houston Astros, but I have a feeling the clue goes deeper than that. I think the baseball connection seems promising.
EDIT: I think Josh might be referring to Josh Donaldson, not Jose Altuve. Donaldson beat out Trout for MVP in 2015.

Yay! A new game! That was fast.
What I learned from reading these posts: there's a lot of Joshes.
My point is that it could be any of them.

Lumosityfan talks about the Astros on IRC all the time, and Breslau is a town in Texas (among a couple other places), and lumosityfan once lived in Texas. Breslau is an unusual choice for a city in Texas...dragonfruit35 wrote:Well, Jose Altuve plays for the Houston Astros, but I have a feeling the clue goes deeper than that. I have a feeling there are too many Joshes in baseball to be able to pinpoint the exact one the sassy is referring to, so let's not make any assumptions - it's super early for IDs anyways. Also, when I googled Breslau, the first one that came up was the city in Poland. I didn't get any results for the places named Breslau in the states that you guys found. I'm really sure it refers to the European one.bernard wrote:Lumosityfan talks about the Astros on IRC all the time, and Breslau is a town in Texas (among a couple other places), and lumosityfan once lived in Texas. This may be a stretch, but there is a baseball player named Craig Breslow.

I protect Lumosityfan based on the reasoning above.bernard wrote:Lumosityfan talks about the Astros on IRC all the time, and Breslau is a town in Texas (among a couple other places), and lumosityfan once lived in Texas. I think the Miggy and Josh part is part of the kill clue, not an ID clue.pikachu4919 wrote: I have a feeling there are too many Joshes in baseball to be able to pinpoint the exact one the sassy is referring to, so let's not make any assumptions - it's super early for IDs anyways. Re: SciOly Assassination 114: The Amazing Race Death Edition
I protect Adi1008 for the following reason and the fact that he is also from Texas, where Breslau is located.daydreamer0023 wrote:Could be, but I found that Mike Trout was in direct contest with Cabrera and Altuve (I've found a connection that he won something that Trout didn't, can't quite recall) for a prestigious baseball award. Given his nickname of the Millville Meteor, I think we should search for protects that way.Alex-RCHS wrote:Also, Josh Hamilton.texas wrote:
Breslau- largest city in western Poland
Also, "Miggy and Josh" might be referencing one of these: Miguel Cabrera and Jose Altuve (baseball players), Miguel and Jose Cotto (boxers)
But then, Josh Hamilton is originally from Raleigh, NC. So Alex could be a target. Or me by a very long shot.

Re: SciOly Assassination 114: The Amazing Race Death Edition
It might be a good idea to read up on the Oregon Trail, since that seems to be part of the theme.
Also, since the Oregon Trail is in the west, and (judging by post times) the Sassy is too, it should be easier to find out who they are.
In addition to that, there was that bit about time travel:
Hope this helps!
