Possibly because he/she is from Clements. It's not impossible, especially considering how volatile TX C is (though I'd consider Clements in top 10 to be a bit of a stretch).

I think that Texas C is definitely volatile, especially because all three of LASA, Clements, and SL are roughly at the same level. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Clements and LASA make it over SL. One thing people tend to forget is that Clements has been ridiculously close to making nationals; if it not for some very unfortunate mistakes and sketchy proctoring decisions, they would have made it the past two years over SL. I think that if Clements makes nationals, they'll have beat a top 10 team at state anyways and top 10 at nationals isn't out of the question at all.

Additionally, I'd like to stress that I don't think breakingankles is from Clements:

-No one from Clements is that outwardly salty or mean; everyone I've talked to from Clements has been pretty chill
-There are friends between Clements/LASA/SL teams
-breakingankles predicted that Clements would get 4th at MIT, but Clements wasn't full strength at MIT (as far as I know). Someone who was actually from Clements would know that

I think it's much more likely they're from another school

Yes if you look at every event, one of the teams did well. Seems like there are very few weak events (if any) on the team. I would be surprised if they dropped from top 3 or 4 this year
