I think all invites in the past have been on a Saturday (correct me if I'm wrong though) so they could be trying something new, maybe seeing if more people are available Sunday?

I doubt it. Feb 8th was a Saturday this year, though. They may have just forgotten to change the date

I was on the team at Grayslake last year (Freshman now at high school). The Illinois Olympiad site now has it listed as the 7th which is a Saturday.
