B should get Car of Tomorrow and Sumo-Bots

Events for next year's C Div look pretty good- I'm hoping to get Astronomy, Sounds of Music, Dynamic Planet, Disease Detectives, and/or Mission Possible. Not very likely that I'll get all of them, but hey, I'll be optimistic for once.

Div B doesn't look half bad either...If I go back, I'm hoping for Solar System, Sounds of Music, Bottle Rocket, Dynamic Planet, and Compute This (which I don't particularly like but I don't really have to do any work for it).

Optics sounds good, very good. However I think that Trajectory is far superior to Sounds of Music. Then there's the expected Towers, which I think I'll like although I think I'll prefer Elevated Bridge. I really, really hope they go with Gliders over Helicopter, but the balsa events have taken over from the Freeflight events for my main build anyhow. Sumo Bots will a nice addition to C. I think there could be a better lineup of events, but it still looks good for next year.

Yeah, it's not the best event lineup, but it's not horrible either. blue cobra, I agree, Trajectory/Storm the Castle is far superior to Sounds of Music; however, being a decent violinist, I might have a bit of an advantage in SoM that I wouldn't normally have in a build event. Gliders sounds interesting, although how exactly would you test one? Climb up a stepladder and launch?

I guess it would involve a ladder or some sort tall thing (bleachers? balcony?) unless they mean balloon launch glider and left off the balloon part.

thats most likely wat it is. i hope that some of this is changed cuz i would like to see some of the b events changed to different things, tho some of the changes r good.

Last time it was an event it was launched from balloons

Based on the revision date (9/22/09), I would expect several events to change.
The list should be out in the next couple of weeks. They (the SO people) have a meeting after Nats to work through everything.

In any case, it won't be long.....
