very few go and its a full paid scholarship... because those who manage to win nats have that sights on IV league or MIT/Caltech etc.

Now, bear with me, if the National tournament were to be held at an Ivy league school...lets just say that nats might just get a lot more competitive, at least for that year.

Now this totally ludicrous, i don't even think that Nats is held anywhere but at Public universities, but it'd be nice and would certainly make for an interesting national tournament...

Fossils (Regionals ~1st) (State ~6th)
Towers (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd)
Helicopter (Regionals -3rd gahhh) (State ~5th)
Wind Power (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd TIERED!)

It's basically where people bring random stuff that represents their state and trade it with other people for other random stuff from the other person's state.

They should make the swap meet an event. Whoever comes out with the best stuff wins. Ranked in order of retail value. The science of negotiating.
