1. Daniel Wright
2. Beckendorff
3. Solon
4. Tower Heights????
5. Piedmont
As someone coming from Piedmont, our score was MUCH higher at states than last year. But I think we still have a good shot at top 5.
tower heights? why are they so high
Piedmont as well? why are they so high
I couldn't think of anyone for 4th. As for Piedmont, I might have made a mistake putting them in top 5,

Aside from SSA I do think those are all valid options for top 5 (some bigger stretches than others)

SSA beat Piedmont AND tower heights before, so if Tower Heights is considered for top 5, SSA should be in front of them.

Better yet: Don't put any of them in the top 5.

What about Longfellow, Meads, or Springhouse?

What are thoughts on Slauson?

Piedmont has a significantly better track record from past years, and with regard to Tower Heights it's a general rule of thumb to not judge a team by their bad invitationals. I don't see Tower Heights as particularly threatening to the top 5 either, though I see them as more likely to make the top 10 than SSA due to state history.

Tower Heights beat Solon at Ohio states last year, and Tower Heights placed 17th at nats...
I think they'll place maybe 13th or 14th.
Slauson is one of those teams that don't know much about. They won nats in 1985 and 1986, but that doesn't really mean anything lol. I think they'll be similar to Tower Heights/Solon from last year, where Tower Heights beat Solon at states and Solon beat Tower Heights at nats. Slauson will place around 15th, Meads will still be just as high as before, maybe a little lower (5/6th?).
