All right. That's unfortunate, ACC usually does well at states. It seems like there have been a couple conflicts with the late competition this year, I know in Monroe County the county Envirothon is that day, and several people in that do Science Olympiad as well. Perhaps a week earlier would have been ideal?
Please provide your real username, If you provide a fake then it defeats the purpose of the option. Also, if the entry appears to be a joke, and the username is not real, I will remove it.
If there is a duplicate (i.e. two slots have the same team) I will replace the latter with the next team in the list, but keep the overall entry. If three or more slots have the same team, I will discard the entry.
Please no joke entries. This applies more to C than B, since B is very hard to predict this year, but if I feel you submitted an entry as a joke (this will take a lot, I will try to be very liberal with allowing entries) I will discard it.
Now here's an updated B poll! Only teams with more than one vote are shown.

Are any other teams having conflicts with Science O States? Our scholastic scrimmage has a competition that day and I was wondering if anyone else was affected by a similar situation
One person voted for Wyoming Area. That was Wyoming Area's only vote, so they are not listed among the teams receiving multiple votes. That particular entry had a high deviation from the overall rankings, but it was not high enough for me to justify removing it from the list.

Some people on the ES South team have a conflict with Envirothon that day. It seems that since states are usually in April, there might be more conflicts than normal this year. Allentown Central Catholic couldn't go to states altogether because of a conflict. It's unfortunate, because I'm not sure if there's much that can be done; Juniata is a great site, and they're probably very limited by when they can host an event as large as this.

It's unfortunate that there are so many conflicts this year. I'm from Stroudsburg and no one on our team can go to Envirothon either. It will probably come down to the people with conflicts picking which competition to go to. Best of luck to everyone who is having similar problems
For now on, I will be posting the current poll every Friday. That gives people the weekend to discuss it, and it also provides a sort of countdown to states (5 weeks to states!).
However, before I post this week's update, here are my personal C rankings, with some (hopefully) interesting facts about each team:
1. Harriton: Harriton has won first at states longer than the current freshmen and sophomores have been alive. Think about that. That's a long time. 2. Conestoga: Harriton, Rustin, and Penncrest have all made nationals fairly recently, and Strath Haven has made nationals in B. Stoga is still waiting for its first trip. After the regional title, this feels like the year. 3. Penncrest: The last year Penncrest missed the top 3? 2002. The only year they've placed something other than second at states since 2004? 2012. PA is getting competitive, man. 4. Strath Haven: It's a bit hard to believe that Strath Haven had never placed higher than 5th at regionals before 2014, but Strath Haven HS is relatively new to SO compared to the other C heavyweights, as well as its B counterpart. Interestingly, before this year, Strath's highest place at states (4th in 2010) was higher than its highest place at regionals (5th, 2010-2012). That SE is a tough regional. 5. Bayard Rustin: In 2007, Rustin missed states. In 2012, they qualified for nationals. That is no small feat. The fact that they placed 5th at regionals speaks volumes of the teams ahead of them. 6. Northwestern Lehigh: They placed in the top 10 at Stoga and Athens, and top 5 at Solon and Tiger. Not bad for a team that did not qualify for states last year. Also, last year broke a modest streak of two straight years that a team that had not qualified for states the previous year placed in the top 10 (Haverford in 2011, East Stroudsburg South in 2012). NW Lehigh looks like a good bet to join that group. Bayard Rustin also did so in 2008, and I am not sure if anyone did so in 2009 because I don't have the full 2008 results handy. 7. Shady Side: Shady Side quietly had a very successful invitational season, placing 2nd at Kenston and 7th at Mentor, and got the lowest score at SW regionals in quite some time. They are also one of two non-SE teams to place third since 2003, doing so in 2006 (Athens was the other in 2011). They might not place that high this year, but top 10 definitely seems within reach. 8. North Pocono: This is a team that continues to rise and shows few signs of slowing. Unless I'm mistaken, their first states appearance was just two years ago, and last year they missed the top 10 by only 4 points. There is no reason to think they won't break through this year, except for the fact that this is one of the most competitive years in the history of PA. They could easily take over as the dominant NE team if Athens doesn't recover. 9. Garnet Valley: Last year's Garnet Valley team was clearly behind the top tier of SE teams. This year, they're squarely in the middle of it. Due to past results, my Excel formula puts them behind Lower Merion and Haverford, but my judgment call is that regionals was a clear indicator that this is a serious contender. 10. Lower Merion: Lower Merion is usually very consistent at states, having placed 9th-7th-8th-6th-6th from 2009 to 2013. They also have a nationals appearance to their credit from 2003. Their 10th place prediction is not an indication of them losing a step, but an indication of the improvement of the teams ahead of them.
Honorable mention: Haverford, Perkiomen Valley, Stroudsburg
