That makes more sense, since I was looking through the scores from last year and didn't see them.
Just 1 regional left! Assuming that Allen is making States, these are my predictions for B division. They only represent my opinion and aren't meant to offend anyone:
1. Shady Side
2. Strath Haven
3. Welsh Valley
4. Allen?
5. Bala Cynwyd
6. Park Forest
7. JT Lambert
8. Abington Heights
9. Whitehall Coplay
10. Springton Lake
Mmmhhh let's make a few adjustments here and there... Voila! *not to get anyone upset...
1.Strath Haven
2. Shady Side
3. Welsh Valley
4. Allen?
5. Bala Cynwyd
6. Park Forest
7.Abington Heights
8. JT Lambert
9. Whitehall Coplay
10. Springton Lake

Haha yep, that would be us slowpokes over here in Central. Our normal date for Regionals (late March) is already one of the last in the state, so I'm not sure why exactly they decided to push it back even FURTHER....maybe to coincide with MU's spring break, I guess, but it's still strange.

I would not bet heavily on Hershey MS making top 10; I don't think they're quite that good (I haven't had any contact with the MS team or their coaches this year, but I did compete with them for two years, if that counts for anything). Top 15 is likely, but I doubt top 10.

I would normally say that Hershey probably wouldn't be in the top ten, but close to it. As i have been looking at the regional results, it seems that the teams that kept them out are faltering. I'm not sure, just my thoughts.

For all those who are going to the Juniata College for States this year, a bunch of us decided that we were going to have separate name tags for scioly users. On the name tag you will simply write your username for scioly. Make sure its readable. I hope you guys will follow along.
We may or may not have a Scioly get together at States. Any ideas where we should meet up? If you have any questions please PM me:D

Anyone have any idea what the top scores for Grav, Robot, and Boom were at the Central East Regional competition?

Im from Shadyside and I'm just curious to know what Other teams have been doing well besides us and strath. I just want to see who else is our competition besides the same 2.
Looking forward to states. Hopefully we will go to nationals(and beat strath)

Well, the favorites by far are Shady Side and Strath Haven. After that, it's a wide open second tier made of teams from various regions: Welsh Valley and Bala Cynwyd from SE, Whitehall Coplay and Park Forest from CE, Abington Heights and J.T. Lambert from NE, and Allen from C. There are also several other teams that could realistically contend for the top 10, but I would say that these are the most likely teams to take the higher places.

I'm assuming this is one of the trial events this year? In that case, I would not know.
On another note, however, are we going to have a meet-up at States this year?

For anyone doing Astro. Based on the state tests from last year and the year before, it looks like A LOT of the info is taken from Carrol and Ostile's Introduction to Modern Astrophysics. Sometimes verbatim (like the H-R Diagram of the evo of a 5 solar mass star and a bunch of stuff from questions 90-100, and a ton more too). Enjoy
