Hey, maybe New Jersey just has relatively few native trees? Compare: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:T ... New_Jersey versus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Minnesota_trees.

But for IL, the state list is only eligible for invites and regionals...for state, we have to use the national list >.<

oh, and JS, go and start studying for national trees then ;)

How come NY has OVER 100 TREES on the state list? It doesn't make sense, compared to NJ's. :? I WISH I ONLY HAD TO LEARN 20 TREES!

Although NJ will be interesting when it comes to nats... they will need to learn the trees from the national list anyway, or they will have to cram it all in a month.
On a side note... the list Alpha posted for the PA tree list is the same one as the national list. Is that a mistake, or do we just have to learn the entire national tree list?
