ok thanks, ya my team is running a fixed rotor and a free rotor with thin (ish) rubber.
and in the helicopter forum no one is really talking about designs or times.,,
were getting more or less 1:30 but were trying to improve it to 2 + minutes to medal at state (like im sure everyone is) any ideas?

There is discussion on those issues on the Helicopter forum... there's a "Duration" section and a "Design" section, as well as other ones for questions on issues such as rubber. You're more likely to get good, varied advice if you ask on those forums instead of the Illinois forum, which probably mostly just people from Illinois read.

In a pinch, grab DK... it really has most of what you need. Keep stuff tabbed though, it can be difficult to look through.
