Yep, that's how ID clues work. Although there was one round where it was left blank, so it might've been hidden elsewhere on the site or been within the main text post

I'm doubtful they're in Division B. Aside from the fact that some of the 'narration' sounds like they're college-age (plus or minus on year) and they specifically used an advanced Geologic Mapping task as a clue should indicate at least Division C or older.
Differentiating speaking German (in school or otherwise) vs actually being German might be difficult
