I'm doubtful they're in Division B. Aside from the fact that some of the 'narration' sounds like they're college-age (plus or minus on year) and they specifically used an advanced Geologic Mapping task as a clue should indicate at least Division C or older.
Differentiating speaking German (in school or otherwise) vs actually being German might be difficult
